Ho Kun-Han (b. 1992, Taipei)
With a background in architecture and art, my practice explores the contradictions between image construction and material perception, and how acquired experience shapes our judgments of what we encounter. Through site-specific installations, I alter the conditions under which existing objects are viewed and perceived, inviting viewers to notice perceptual discrepancies in familiar things and reconsider the relationship between images and physical objects.
My series "Infra-Image" won First Prize at the New Taipei City Art Exhibition (2022) and was featured at STIFF 2025 (Croatia). "Full-Size Image" was presented at Ars Electronica (2023, Austria), and "Fluid Boundaries" will be exhibited at the Amsterdam Light Festival (2026).
