The Full-size Image series explores the mechanisms of image representation through the interaction of light, images, and everyday objects, examining the ambiguous relationship between images and flat objects within the same dimensional plane.
By modifying projection technology, the work shifts the role of light from a medium for representational images to a direct illuminator of found objects. As these objects are "viewed," they simultaneously merge with their own projected image.
This approach questions the boundary between image and reality, challenging our intuitive understanding of images—no longer merely the result of optical translation, but a conceptual construct shaped by the act of viewing.
