Subway introduces the sounds and light of a metro into a familiar campus walkway. Speakers and LED strips concealed beneath drainage grates play metro chimes and passenger voices, accompanied by shifting light that suggests a passing train.
Emerging from beneath the path, these familiar cues evoke an underground station within the drainage channel. The work overlays the everyday route with the impression of another place, exploring how sound, light, and memory shape our sense of what lies beyond view.
