The Whispers of Breeze series explores how sound, moving physical objects, and spatial context shape the perception of wind. Ultrasonic directional speakers incorporated into ceiling fans reproduce airflow sounds, while individual versions combine these fictional sounds with existing physical objects at each site.
Across semi-outdoor spaces, corridors, and galleries, the works rearrange familiar perceptual cues of wind. Their alignments and discrepancies invite viewers to reconsider how bodily sensation and acquired experience contribute to judgments about the surrounding environment.
